Holosun 507K Unveiled

A new optic enters the field! Holosun’s 507K was subtly leaked today on Instagram…boy do I need to get more active on there. Anyway! The 507K was unveiled and it’s quite an interesting little optic. For those that are curious about what the “K” stands for, I’ll jokingly say it stands for Kindergarten. Why? Because it’s a miniaturized miniature pistol red dot.

So, what are the details? Well, I’ll share with you what I got.

What I know:

  • It has an aluminum chassis.
  • Side loading battery
  • Side mounted controls
  • Same reticle options as the 507c
  • Fits Sig Sauer Romero ZERO’s footprint as well as the Shield RMS-c’s footprint
  • Battery Life: ???
  • Battery Used: CR1632
  • Estimated Price: $250-$300

With this not officially being out yet, there’s very limited information to go off of. That said, this optic is specifically designed to mount to handguns with slim slides like the Glock 43, 43x, 48, the Sig P365, P365XL, Walther PPS M2, and the Smith & Wesson Shield series.

I speculate that this will be a good option for those that are running standard CZ 75 series pistols such as the SP-01 Tactical and P-01 as well as the Lionheart LH9 or Regulus.

If I get anymore information on this optic to share with you all, I’ll be sure to update the article!
