Blue Alpha Gear Low Profile EDC Belt Review

This Blue Alpha Gear EDC belt is probably the simplest gun belt on the market. There’s no holes, there’s no complicated buckling procedure like a Formula 1 car seat, there’s just velcro and nylon. It’s cheap, low mass, sturdy, and it does it’s job.

For complete honesty, the logged hours I have with the belt on is not the total amount of time it was used. I was getting used to logging all of the data after use, so there’s definitely a lot of hours missing from the list. From the numbers I have though it’s been worn with a firearm for over 1,000 hours, and I haven’t been taking care of this thing in the slightest.

LOX Black Diamond Tattoo Salve Review

I’m a skeptic when it comes to grooming products; a gigantic skeptic. Like toothpaste. Dentists make money off of bad teeth, why the hell are they recommending toothpaste? I digress. I have a close friend that uses LOX products on his tattoos that he swears by. When I got my memorial tattoo for Violet, I decided I would give it a try in the hope that it would keep the tattoo looking bright, colorful, and pretty; just like her.

As a side note, they named this particular salve after the American Coal Miners, which I find cool since my ancestors were coal miners in Pennsylvania.

Rocketbook Notepad Review

RocketBook Everlast Mini is a pocketable sized notepad that’s… reusable? Yes, it’s a reuseable notebook that comes with an erasable pen. The pages are waterproof and almost feel like the sheets our teachers would use on those stone age overhead projectors. The pen that the pad comes with is a Pilot erasable FriXion.

For data entry, condensing what you’re carrying with you (without losing information), etc. I feel like the Rocketbook is definitely the way to go for those who still like manually writing notes (don’t feel bad, I do too).

The Lazy Man’s Wedge

I got the Dr. Scholl’s idea from a post on YouTube which I ended up watching a video of on YouTube. Me, being the lazy individual I am, saw it as a cheap/low maintenance alternative to a foam wedge. I ended up going out and picking up the women’s heel insert (fearing the men’s might be too large for the holster), went home, and got it attached as soon as possible.

In the month that I’ve used it, I’ve logged over just at 200 hours of wear time….

Steadfast Holsters IWB Review

I ordered my holster from Steadfast late last year and got it in early November. The quality of the holster is great, there aren’t any rough edges, and the adjustable retention is great. The holster claw does a good job at keeping the holster anchored for AIWB carry and I haven’t noticed any abnormal discomfort while using the holster.

NeoMag Review

NeoMag Review The NeoMag, a mag carrier for your pocket. A friend of mine put me onto this product while complaining that it wouldn’t work for the plastic mags of his FN Five-seveN..so you know I had to get it in to test out. The NeoMag comes equipped with a strong neodymium magnet, a titanium
